Why We Started

Fresh Turkish coffee was harder to find than it should have been.

Lezzet, Turkish for "flavor," was born from a simple frustration: too much Turkish coffee in America had already gone flat by the time it reached the cup. What should smell rich and feel alive was often roasted months earlier and stripped of the aroma that makes the experience special.
